Taa Daa! Finally Our Wool Swap!

We may be a bit late but Mel and I have finally swapped our gifts!

This is the beautiful wool stitching Mel made for me.

 It was the lid of a box.

 Inside there was some beautiful Tilda fabrics, a Libby Richardson pattern 

and some cute little heart buttons.

 I'm going to use this box to store my Tilda fabric in. 

Mel had already labelled it for me.

Thank you so much, Mel. I just love my new Tilda box.

This is what I made for Mel. I decided to use a wooden frame 

for a Home Sweet Home picture.

  

I also added some little extras.

I love this swap group...

No stalking of the postie was required this month ..... but I did squeal as I was excited when postie had me signing for a parcel this morning.... don't you love that spotty paper with spotty ribbon

I have seen other versions of Melody's sling bag given out as gifts.... I have to admit being a bit jealous about them getting them... they look so useful..... and I dared to hope that I might get one when I saw her name on the back of the envelope

Well...... eat your heart out peeps .... look what came to me

that's one side of it.... oh I couldn't help but cry with joy....

... and this is the other..... 

.... now just look at all the detail Melody has added... isn't that a gorgeous quirky bird ... and all those extra stitches and buttons... 

... the bag is just incredible... those spots are amazing and did you see the lining is also spotty

... and on top of it all the bag was stuffed full of spotty items....

there is a juice can, magnets, stickers, windmills, birthday book, pencils, ribbon, ladybug chocolates ...everything spotty and such a lot of fun - it was like Christmas.  Even the card has spotty looking eyes all over it.... just gorgeous

I was on my way out to town so I quickly changed my handbag to take my new one with me... snapped a picture so you can see the bag is huge... hold loaaaaaddddsss of treasures

Righto, Gotto Go... I've got some toys to play with ...

My DResdeN

My swap package arrived from the lovely Melody... last week actually... but I am still having desktop computer problems after an electrical storm...but at least I now have the faithful laptop running again... so I finally get to show you all MY "dresden".
 Mel made a sweet bag with a dresden on the front... and a half dresden on the side... with lots of pockets and even a key hanger attached.
Melody included some wonderful accessories... and I have even used the mini torch already...
