I Forgot To Let You Know . . . . . . .

Special Elf Ann hand delivered it to me for Shez a few weeks ago.
I have been very good and not poked, squeezed, shaken or sniffed my parcel!

Taa Daa! Finally Our Wool Swap!

We may be a bit late but Mel and I have finally swapped our gifts!
This is the beautiful wool stitching Mel made for me.
It was the lid of a box.
Inside there was some beautiful Tilda fabrics, a Libby Richardson pattern
and some cute little heart buttons.
I'm going to use this box to store my Tilda fabric in.
Mel had already labelled it for me.

Thank you so much, Mel. I just love my new Tilda box.
This is what I made for Mel. I decided to use a wooden frame
for a Home Sweet Home picture.

I also added some little extras.

Thanks to Shez and Peg for organising this fun swap.
Mel and I may have been a bit late
but better late than never!

Finally Wrapped!

We may be a little late swapping but Mel's gift is all finished.
I actually got my project finished last weekend but only got to wrap it yesterday.
All we have to do now is find a time when we can get together to swap our gifts.

Oh No!

I've just looked at when our wool swap is due.
The 10th of October!

I thought it was the end of October. I've been so busy working on the NOTYQ Quilt Exhibition the last few weeks (I'm the Convenor), I haven't had a chance to work on my special project. I have made a start on it so that is at least something. Once the show is over this weekend, it looks like there'll be no rest for me.
I hope my partner will excuse my tardiness.
I'll get it to you as soon as I can.

Hugs,
Christine

No More Bubble Wrap!

No more bubble wrap for my 16½, 12½ or 8 inch rulers.
Chez has made me the most beautiful bag to hold all three!
The front of the bag. The main part of the bag is for my 16½ inch ruler.

The front pocket holds my 8 inch ruler.
The back pocket holds my 12½ inch one.
Chez also sent me some lovely extra goodies.
A tape measure/scissors set, DMC threads, cute little wooden buttons, a magnetic needle holder, choccies and a pack of Thangles. I've never used those before so this should be fun.

Thank you Chez for my wonderful ruler bag. You have certainly spoilt me.
Thank you also to Shez and Peg for organising our fun swap.
Can't wait to see what everyone else received!

It's Finished!

Yes, I have finished my ruler cover.

I thought I would show one! Doesn't give much away though, does it!

My Gifts From Kate

My secret partner turned out to be Kate.
A box arrived with these beautifully wrapped gifts.

A beautiful butterfly hoop made out of little 1/2 inch hexagons.
Together with a miniature hoop with the tiniest stitches of my initial.
Kate also added a packet of 1/2 inch hexagon papers and some yummy jubes.

Thank you for my lovely gifts, Kate.
It is lovely you are now part of our group.
