oh my... oh my....

Well, I actually opened my parcel on Friday as I was going on retreat and knew I would make use of my new ruler holder....

My parcel was from Cheryl... and I just LOVE what she sent...

well.... firstly it wasn't just a ruler holder but all sorts of other lovely goodies... country garden threads in two delicious colours, chocolate in one delicious flavour and wonderful peanuts ... I love a salty peanut .... and of course the ruler holder.... a huge long one....

 ... which is decorated on both sides.... this ladybug panel is a pocket

and here is my ruler holder with my 22" ruler and my 12" ruler.... my little 6" ruler fits fine in the pocket too...

.... needless to say I was thoroughly complimented on my ruler bag.... not only practical but now my rulers are well protected as there is padded wadding throughout...

Thanks so much Cheryl, it's just perfect, I love the colours and those beautiful stitcheries ....

Well ladies…..I have been totally blown away…my gifts have come from my gorgeous talented friend Keryn….I just need to take some photos and you can see how super spoilt I have been….

No More Bubble Wrap!

No more bubble wrap for my 16½, 12½ or 8 inch rulers. 

Chez has made me the most beautiful bag to hold all three!

 The front of the bag. The main part of the bag is for my 16½ inch ruler.

 

 The front pocket holds my 8 inch ruler.

 The back pocket holds my 12½ inch one.

 Chez also sent me some lovely extra goodies. 

A tape measure/scissors set, DMC threads, cute little wooden buttons, a magnetic needle holder, choccies and a pack of Thangles. I've never used those before so this should be fun.

Thank you Chez for my wonderful ruler bag. You have certainly spoilt me.

A LiTTLe EaRLy

I know it's very early but you see I'm going away...& will miss the mailing deadline...
I decided to make the ruler cover & complete the gift package early...as I didn't want my partner to have to wait until I returned home. It was silly to take it with me in the van... (we leave late next week & until then I'm in Melbourne) ... SO I am mailing it off VERY early.

I guess my partner will have to show extreme will power until July...
Aren't I BaD...
