Friends Having Fun Swaps…..seeing spots!

My partner for this swap was Claire and since she’s emailed me saying my parcel has arrived safely at her house and she loves what I made for her I thought I’d pop a couple of photo’s of what I made her on here.

First up was this table topper I made as the main gift although Claire tells me it’s never going to see a table as it’s way too good to get food spilt on it and she is in the process of making it into a wall hanging for her sewing room…..hey I’m just happy and relieved she loves it LOL….

I also sent Claire a few goodies to go with her main gift these included.……

A spotty Rosalie Quinlan pre-printed stitchery, a spotty notebook, a mini charm pack of Miss Kate as I know how much she loves her Bonnie and Camille fabrics and of course I had to add some blue and white M & M’s too with the theme as well as a box of smarties both without nuts or fruit just the way Claire likes her choccies. Thanks for being my partner in this swap Claire and hopefully I’ll get to see how my table topper turned wall hanging looks hanging on your wall real soon.

It is official I have been totally ruined!!!! The very gorgeous Karen has sent me these wonderful goodies...

Everything made my heart beat a little faster....so perfect! A lovely table centre....my colours!

The sweetest notepad and beautifully stitched notepad folder...

I love Karen's beautiful ribbon creations and now I have a beautiful ribbon star of my very own.

I am in love with my new spotty tin as well....and the pretty spotty charm squares. Want to peek inside?

Lovely Christmas ribbons.....a frosty one and candy canes, beautiful tags and dotty M&Ms....note please unopened as at the time of this post!                                                                                                    

Karen even gave me a little treat for my Art Journalling....some gorgeous new papers to play with.

These parcels are part of our Friends Having Fun Swap, I wonder where they will end up????

I love this swap group...

No stalking of the postie was required this month ..... but I did squeal as I was excited when postie had me signing for a parcel this morning.... don't you love that spotty paper with spotty ribbon

I have seen other versions of Melody's sling bag given out as gifts.... I have to admit being a bit jealous about them getting them... they look so useful..... and I dared to hope that I might get one when I saw her name on the back of the envelope

Well...... eat your heart out peeps .... look what came to me

that's one side of it.... oh I couldn't help but cry with joy....

... and this is the other..... 

.... now just look at all the detail Melody has added... isn't that a gorgeous quirky bird ... and all those extra stitches and buttons... 

... the bag is just incredible... those spots are amazing and did you see the lining is also spotty

... and on top of it all the bag was stuffed full of spotty items....

there is a juice can, magnets, stickers, windmills, birthday book, pencils, ribbon, ladybug chocolates ...everything spotty and such a lot of fun - it was like Christmas.  Even the card has spotty looking eyes all over it.... just gorgeous

I was on my way out to town so I quickly changed my handbag to take my new one with me... snapped a picture so you can see the bag is huge... hold loaaaaaddddsss of treasures

Righto, Gotto Go... I've got some toys to play with ...
