For our first FHFS we did a dresden plate project and my partner to send to was the lovely Mel.
So this was a challenge for me as i have never done a dresden plate before and they had me rather scared, but once i got going i quite enjoyed making them.
I sent Mel a dresden plate table topper and a glass jar with it own personal reversible cover and a coffee table book which i forgot to take a pic of.
Mel has contacted me to let me know that she loves her parcel so that makes me happy too.
This is the reversible vase cover which is a Lisa Pyke design of cubbyhouse and is in homespun mag no 96 vol 12.5 and i have made this a few times now and love this pattern,i must make some for me.
I have really enjoyed this swap, our next one is a tilda swap,so i had better get started, lol.
cheers shez xx
